David Hall & Matt Bogardus

At the Section III Division I Championships last weekend, David and Boggey both won individual titles. Ranked 2nd to B'ville's top ranked 103lber, David left no doubt that he was the best in the section as he completely controlled his opponent to a 4-2 decision. Boggey continued his amazing season as he thoroughly dominated the competition. Cortland's #2 ranked 160lber had nowhere to run this time when he faced Boggey, and lost by Technical Fall in the third period. Boggey put on a truly impressive takedown clinic for all in attendance, and thus earned the tournament's "Most Outstanding Wrestler" award. David and Boggey will represent Fulton, as well as the rest of Section III, at the State Tournament in Rochester March 8-9.
Great job boys, we're proud of you!!

The Entire JV Team

Eighteen JVs competed in the League Tournament at CNS high school, and 9 were crowned with individual championships.  Sixteen of the JVs were awarded a medal for placing in the top 3 of their weight class. Combined, the JVs won 55 matches to just 18 losses, and also recorded 34 pins, as they gave up only 4. You have come a long way - great job Raiders, you should be proud!
